This Privacy Policy explains how Unarvu AI, a division of Cre8IOT Sdn. Bhd. (SSM No: 201701015657) ("we", "our", or "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and AI-powered services.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ("PDPA"). This policy applies to all personal data collected through unarvu.ai and our associated AI service platforms.

2. Data We Collect

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name
  • Usage Data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages
  • Communication Data: Messages sent through contact forms, demo requests, or email

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, or health information unless explicitly required and consented for specific AI pilot programs.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • To process demo requests and early access applications
  • To send relevant updates about our AI solutions and roadmap
  • To improve our website, products, and services
  • To comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements

We will not use your personal data for purposes incompatible with those stated above without obtaining your explicit consent.

4. AI Model Training & Data Usage

As an AI technology company, we adhere to strict data governance principles for model training:

4.1 Vertical-Specific Model Training

Our AI models are trained on vertical-specific operational data and are NOT generalized across unrelated industries. Energy AI models are trained only on energy data. Industrial AI models are trained only on industrial process data.

4.2 Data Sovereignty

All customer data processing and model training infrastructure is based in Malaysia. No transfer of personal or operational data outside Malaysia occurs without explicit written agreement.

4.3 Healthcare Data Anonymization

For healthcare AI pilots, all patient-identifiable data is anonymized in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines before any model training or analytics processing.

4.4 Partner Data Processing

Partner data is processed strictly under partner instruction and governed by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs). We act as a data processor, not controller, for partner-managed deployments.

4.5 No General AI Training

Customer operational data is NEVER used for general AI training, LLM pre-training, or foundation model development. Your data trains only your specific domain model.

4.6 Operational Data Types

Depending on the vertical, the operational data processed by our AI systems may include:

  • Energy: Electricity, gas, water, and thermal meter readings; consumption timestamps
  • Industrial: Pump vibration signatures, flow rates, power consumption, SCADA/PLC telemetry
  • Edge Camera: Video frame data (event-based only), violation metadata, detection logs
  • Healthcare: Nurse call timestamps, ward schedules, response intervals (anonymized)
  • Assets: Utilization logs, GPS telemetry, maintenance records, operating hours
  • Transport: GPS routes, dashcam event clips, DMS alert data, fuel consumption
  • Water: Flow rates, pressure readings, quality metrics (pH, turbidity, chlorine levels)

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain website functionality and session state, including form security and remembering your cookie notice choice. Forms may use Google reCAPTCHA v3 for spam and abuse prevention, which may process technical signals such as IP address, browser information, and interaction patterns. We do not use analytics, advertising, or behavioural tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser, though some website features may not function correctly.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors who assist in hosting, spam prevention, and communication services under strict confidentiality obligations
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. 8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Contact form submissions are retained for 24 months for follow-up purposes. Operational data retention periods are defined in individual customer agreements.

9. Your Rights Under PDPA

Under the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data held by us
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
  • Withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data (with reasonable notice)
  • Request cessation of processing that causes damage or distress
  • Prevent processing for direct marketing purposes

10. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
